Everyone aged 12 and older will need the following:
An Adult Combined Angling Tag: This tag is specifically required when fishing for salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, or halibut, regardless of your age (if you are fishing for these species). Youth anglers (12-17) need a Youth Angling Combined Angling Tag, which is less expensive.
Where to Buy: Licenses and tags can be purchased online through the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) website, at ODFW offices, and at licensed vendors (like some sporting goods stores and bait shops). Electronic or Paper: Anglers must have their license and tag in their possession, either a traditional paper version or an electronic version on their phone (through the MyODFW app).
